John Vertner

I’m an electrical engineer at AtkinsRéalis, specializing in power generation and transmission. I work under PE supervision on projects involving power plants, substations, and public utilities. As a young professional, I’m steadily working toward earning my PE license and growing in the industry one step at a time.

In my personal time, I volunteer with IEEE for professional development and networking through student activities leadership, regional committees, and event support across the Seattle Section and Region 6. I focus on helping students and young professionals organize events and engage with the community. My hobbies include walking, running, photography, cooking, fashion, and content creation, especially around storytelling.
